Meet Our Friendly, Professional Team
Chuck Folks
Owner & Master Plumber
Chuck was born and raised in Douglas County, Kansas. He is originally from Eudora and moved to Lecompton at age 12. After graduating from Perry-Lecompton High School in 1993, he moved to Lawrence and began his plumbing career. He received his Journeyman license in 1996 and his Master’s license in 2002, with the goal of someday owning his own company.
In 2005, Chuck became a project manager for a large plumbing, heating, and cooling company in the Kansas City Metro area. In 2007, Chuck received his general contractor’s license. In 2008, Chuck started Advanced Plumbing, bringing with him all the experiences and knowledge from his previous work. Over the years, Chuck has acquired a large variety of skills in the plumbing industry. This includes jobs from the simplest service and repair to the complex construction of large hotels.
Chuck’s hobbies include family time, woodworking, 4H with his daughters, and recreational shooting. Chuck and Diane married in 2001. They have two daughters, Maelee (born 2004) and Lydia (born 2006). The family lives in southwest Douglas County.
CORY DELG
Journeyman
Cory’s been with Advanced Plumbing for 10 years, working his way up from apprentice to running commercial jobs. A very thorough and considerate person, he is also a loyal and highly respected employee — by AP and by our customers. Born and raised in Lawrence, Cory has a wife, Mayra, and two daughters. His favorite part of the job is running gas line!
Cory was born and raised in Lawrence, KS. He graduated from Free State High School where he played baseball all 4 years. Cory went to college for three years to major in business, but got tired of school and needed a change. He decided to join the Advanced Plumbing team back in 2013 and he has loved his job ever since.

Apprentice
Ramiro is a Lawrence Free State High School 2010 alum and has been in the plumbing biz for five years (he was recruited to Advanced Plumbing by Cory!). He's got a 5-year-old son, Reese. Ramiro likes watching football, prefers cooking over eating out, and is all-in-all a fun guy to be around! He says his favorite part of his job is the people. We are lucky to have Ramiro on the staff!
DIANE Folks
Office Administrator
Diane was born and raised in Lawrence, Kansas. She attended Broken Arrow Elementary School, South Junior High School, and graduated from Lawrence High School in 1991. She went on to college at Baker University and graduated in 1995 with a Bachelor of Science in education. She taught elementary school for 17 years. In 2013, Diane decided to join her husband, Chuck, with his company and became a full-time office manager of Advanced Plumbing, Inc. Diane’s hobbies include family time, 4H with her daughters, reading, knitting, and coaching her daughter’s softball team.
